Can a Hot spring Water re-appear after a sudden disappearance?

Hot spring water is a natural discharge of groundwater with elevated temperatures normally between 36.5 and 37.5 Degree centigrade. Many people travel to hot springs for relaxation and possible health benefits. Hot spring water generally form near areas of volcanic activity. Hot spring can be formed in two ways, one method is when rain or ground water is heated up by contact with rocks that have been heated by Magma deep beneath the Earth's surface. The second way is when rain water flows into the ground and heated by the radioactive decay of elements present in the rocks and soils that it flows through.

Unfortunately there were many cases where hot spring disappeared either due to natural disaster like earthquake or anthropogenic activities like use of dynamite. Recently in August 2020 in Rwanda there was an area located in Western part of Rwanda where Nyakabuye Hot spring in Rusizi dried out and the cause of that incident is still unknown though some local people  blaming a Cement factory for triggering the degradation while using detonators to extract stones.

On October 2012, a powerful earthquake struck the Haida Gwaii coast of British Columbia and the iconic hot spring of Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve vanished and some people feared that it was gone forever. But recently, there have been encouraging signs that hot water is once again flowing, and people there are still hoping that the water will return to the pools the way it once was.

Hot spring is very useful as it has health benefit due to high mineral content, like Calcium, Magnesium, Silica, Lithium and even Radium. The heat in hot spring envelopes and helps soother aching muscles and the minerals present in the water get soaked up by the skin, and stimulate certain bodily processes to aid with swollen joints, muscle fatigue and ligament damage.

In Fact regular soaking in hot springs has been found to reduce eczema itching, and the heat in the water combat nasal congestion like common cold, chest congestion and even allergies. Calcium and Sodium bicarbonate found in hot spring water can help in good blood circulation including lowering blood pressure

Before even science prove it to the people, even animals instinctively knew spending time immersed in hot spring made you feel better and relaxed. However science can help us to understand the context and why is useful to our body and how it does amazing job to keep us relaxed and healing us naturally.
