Extreme Heat can trigger Wildfires in Rural and Urban Areas

A wildfire is an unplanned, uncontrolled fire in an area. A single lightning strike can cause wildfires in a dry forest. Although 85% of all wildfires are caused by humans for instance cigarettes, trash burning, campfires, honey harvesting using fire and many other activities that can start fire.

Wildfires can burn in any area when there is extreme heat
or any other human activities that can trigger the fire

Wildfires can burn in forests, savanna, grasslands or in any other ecosystems and have been happening for hundreds of millions of years.

wildfires has some positive benefit in ecosystem's healthy, this increase in natural order and promote change in ecology. Many plant require regular burns in order to spread seeds and survive. Wildfire can kill insects and diseases that harm forests. wildfires can encourage the maintenance of new grasses, herbs and shrubs that provide grazing area as well as habitat for wild animals including birds. Low intensity wildfires clear underbrush and prevent the damage of future fires from spreading.

Wildfires causes many damage to human, we should learn how to control fires

Wildfires have far impacts on our ecosystem, such as increasing greenhouse gas emissions, and decimating animal populations and their habitats. Wildfires can destroy human properties such as homes ,causing famine and create fatal health impacts for humans.

Wildfires occur when elements of fire come together in a susceptible area.

Though, wildfires has some positive and negative impact we can learn how to prevent wildfire, first approach is to extinguish a fire surrounding area, be mindful where we discard flames. If you are hosting a fire, keep a shovel, water and fire retardant to prevent any possible chance of unwanted fire.

Science communication should be used as a tool to save lives and educate the public on wildfire safety and preparation, some of the most effective ways to communicate is outreach conducted through presentations in different events such as festivals, and youth programs.
